The decision to sell to Walmart did not come easily. With millions using the service, suddenly competition from larger players offering “free” use to include Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and NVIDIA created a challenge fundraising for server growth. Selling became the only strategy in the face of “free services” offered from the deep pocketed competition.
Reportedly Samsung, Apple, Amazon, and Walmart began competing discussions to acquire LiquidSky.
